time is so short

Good morning. I am sitting in the shuttle lot waiting for the bus. Seems like the only time i have to write a note anymore.

Work is so busy, i don't have any time to send any personal emails. I guess being so busy makes the day go faster. I have to admit though, i don't really enjoy bringing work home at night or going in on the weekends. I am thankful to have a job anyway.

This past weekend we took a jaunt over to eau claire to see laura and josh for the afternoon. Ruby was a good little traveler and it was quite entertaining watching her and lucy interacting. Lucy is laura's new little jack russel puppy. Just ruby's size. I posted a few cute photos on flickr. (I also updated recent ruby).

Took another trip in to the doctor last night as ruby had a bad night's sleep and seemed to take a turn for the worst again in healing from her cold. We are starting to get pretty good at reading her subtle signs about how she is feeling. Sure enough she has her third ear infection. Luckily we caught the low-grade fever early. So, hopefully she won't be in too much pain the next few days and will be better before we know it. We were thinking maybe the infection from last month was never really 100% resolved. We shall see.

So, that's my big news. Seems like we should be preparing for a little more snow after enjoying a few weeks of some nice weather.
