lots of people have asked about lisa's family in lieu of the recent bushfires ravaging victoria. luckily, her family is north of there, mostly in queensland which is a safe distance away from all the fires. michael and the kids are much farther north and preparing for the seasonal floods. the closest friends we have living down in victoria are about 20 miles away from the flames. we are a little bit worried, but they didn't seem to be. just thought i'd give an update. thanks for all the concern.
here is a great pictorial of the damage. it's definitely a national disaster over there. we are so thankful our loved ones are safe.

Glad to hear all your friends and family are safe. That's quite a moving set of pictures. Hopefully they can get everything under control soon!
