gloomy

it was raining and gloomy when i woke up today. making it very, very difficult to get on the treadmill. but, i won the battle with myself and even enjoyed watching eternal sunshine on the spotless mind while running. what a great film! it gets me thinking every time i watch it.

anyway, looking forward to the kontny's visiting this weekend. we haven't seen alice in a long time. i bet she is really, really big we won't even recognize her. oh bother. this is what happens when family lives far away. too bad i didn't win the powerball, a private jet or little helicopter might make this distance thing less of a problem. can you imagine? yeah, we'll come 300 miles for dinner, see you in an hour. sheesh.

well, we don't have any definate plans this weekend. we will just see what that weather brings and hopefully have fun with alice, maybe have a few drinks with her parents.
