so, ruby's very infected left ear continues to drain. we made it through friday and saturday and most of sunday. sunday evening we noticed a lot of green-ish mucous around her eyes. as she went off to bed, we hoped it was allergies as she had met a cat that afternoon.
i got a call monday morning from leeser reporting that shorty's eye was crusted shut. my heart just sunk. off to the doctor again to be examined and determine that she now has conjunctivitis. sweet, pink eye. so now she is leaking out of every hole in her head. puss out of her ears. snot and boogers out of her nose. mucous out of her eyes. drool from teething out of her mouth. i just feel so bad for her.
surprisingly her spirits are ok. her appetite has taken a little bit of a header and she does get a little crankier than normal. but, she is sleeping more and singing more too. so, hopefully sooner than later, i will reporting how happy and healthy ruby is.
fingers crossed.

i don't think kids under the age of 10 ever stop dripping completely. get used to it!
Just wanted to let you know how much I enjoy your posts and your twittering. I accidentally hit the nearby function on the twitter screen and had no idea what it did. When I did up popped you. My partner and I have been together for 8 years and your struggles are all very familiar.
