oh the irony
someone was home from work yesteday, sick. sore throat, headcold, the same lovely gift we all have from ruby. anyway, she went outside to finish up the snowblowing. i did a run last night and snow continued to fall so it needed to be done again. all of a sudden someone was taking photos of her. it was someone from the local newspaper. we reckon this would have been published, but Leeser chickened out because she was on a sick day and dressed like an eskimo. how funny would that be though? an aussie out snowblowing in minnesota on the front page of the paper. ha ha ha. i still haven't stopped laughing. they sent a copy of the photo in hopes she would relent and let them publish, but she didn't.

the first time i have called in sick from work in i don't know how long - and i nearly get my photo published in the newspaper - great. i love how Painty thinks this is so funny - geez.....
