shorty is too little for candy, obviously. but somehow, lisa orchestrated going over to visit some friends of her's from work. so we had a reason to dress rubis up and take her out looking all cute. i think i am most amused by the fact that her cousin wore this exact outfit last year, when she was nearly 2 years old (please note the perfect fit on shorty who isn't quite 1 yet. he he he). if you would like to reminisce, click here.
also, wanted to give a shout out to my wifey as it was her birthday yesterday. we did chores and went to church. not the most exciting birthday in the world. but it was her choice. i did make her a big skillet for lunch. we are going out on a date friday for her birthday celebration. out for sushi then to a concert. i am excited. it should be a fun evening. jen-jen is gonna babysit for us. just for fun, here's the birthday girl and the butterfly.
