i have been having a hard time thinking about what to write lately. i guess i have a lot of the hype over the election at the forefront of my brain. but, i wanted to avoid blogging about that all the time.
today i stumbled across a link to a short film that was recently released at Cannes. the blogger i was reading gave it a good review. plus if you know me at all you know how addicted i am to romantic comedies (as clare calls them: rom coms). even more, i fell in love with the etiology of this little ditty. it started as a poem written on a napkin for the author-turned-director's girlfriend for valentine's day.
anyway, it's a cute idea and a sweet story. i enjoyed it.
p.s. i'll try to post a few photos of ruby dressed up this weekend! happy halloween.
