cables and computers

well, i had intended to post a few photos of my walk today through a historical part of the city. but, alas i am sour for a few reasons. one is that i can't get my laptop to recognize this camera. i can't be arsed fiddling around either as it's my bed time. and the other reason is that i don't think i'm getting crisp photos with this broken lens. well, i knew it was broken but haven't had time to get it fixed. i thought a broken lens was better than no lens. hmmm, now i'm not so sure. plus i discovered that my lomo needs repair too. i need to see if i can tighten the lens casing on, or i'm going to have too many light leaks.

so, as it stands, we don't have any nice cameras in our family because our point and shoot has been acting up too. the photos are looking grainy. not sure why. what a pain in the rear.

been busy running around the convention, going to lots of lectures and trying to get really smart. yeah, that's it. tomorrow i am up and at it very early so i can be done early and get out and have a better look at the city. maybe tomorrow night i'll have more patience with this camera and more to show.
