i am so glad today is the last day of work for the week. i don't really feel like i made much progress, but all of that is washed away by the prospect of a) sushi for dinner tonight paid for by my wife, b) nice weather (predicted) for the holiday and long weekend, c) no huge plans, the ones we do have are mellow ones: grilling fish tomorrow evening, eating veggo food at the marshall's saturday, hopefully sneaking in a picnic or hike somewhere along the way.
hope everyone has a safe and happy fourth of july. and for our international readers in the UK where it's just july the 4th tomorrow, we hope you have a safe and happy trip down to brighton where no one falls down stairs or gets injured in any way. and to international readers in australia, i'm sure you have some kind of public holiday coming up soon anyway, so get your arses to work.

Hope you have enjoyed the long weekend. We had a lovely trip to Brighton, I made Nic stand clear of steps and there were no accidents! Can't wait to show you the sights xxx
