yelling and profanity over email

so at 3:46am this morning, an email came through. obviously from a 'friend' in another 'country'. for the sake of this blog we'll just call her 'clare louise wallis' or 'clare' for ease of typing and to protect the innocent. we'll also note that the 'country' she was writing from is really a dirty old island which may be known as 'england'.

anyway, i thought i would reproduce the flowery language and poetry she used this morning. it is like nothing that can be explained. so here it is:

I keep going in and nothing. not even more pictures or a slight update on what my girls are up to!

i am not going to see it for 2.5 weeks and nothing to get me on my way. hmpf

uh. point taken. although in my defense i have been busy and in love with my daughter. let's see, what updates can i give everyone? we went to the cities on the weekend to see carihard and go to her baby shower. it is always so nice to see her. i love her so much and can't wait for her to experience being a parent. she is looking gorgeous too (as always) with a great baby bump going on.

also, i am officially car shopping. speaking of that, i need to go call him back and maybe set up a test drive tonight. hmmmm. that's always fun. i don't like car shopping and i was hoping we could go without two cars. but it is becoming more apparent that with a little shorty who needs to go to daycare, we are just going to have to bite the bullet. this way we can share the responsibility of dropping off and picking up.

speaking of that, we finally had our 'business meeting' with the bloxy's to discuss ruby's daycare. that is all in place now and we are so happy with the arrangements. we couldn't be more excited to have one of our best friends in the world taking care of our baby. leeser and i are looking forward to her and ben growing up being great pals. here is evidence of a good start:

on to ruby. she is doing all kinds of things lately. here are a few: singing, yelling, babbling, shoving her whole fist in her mouth, sleeping in till past 10am, sleeping through the night, trying to sit up, smiling a little cheeky grin, holding and grabbing toys, trying to jam said toys into her mouth, trying to roll over. i think those are the big ones i can remember. i really need to get video camera so i can post some vignettes for you all to enjoy. ha ha.

there's the last week in a nutshell. oh, and one last thing. happy birthday to my mom. it was last week sunday. i had no idea what the date was so i missed calling her. am i the worst daughter ever? sheesh. but i love that i don't know what the day is! only two more weeks then it's back to the grindstone. boo.
