test drive

i have resigned myself to the fact that as much as i don't agree, we are going to have to get a second vehicle. i won't get into the logistics or the irritation it is causing me as a hippy-at-heart. but i have found a safe, small vehicle that gets great gas mileage and should serve any purposes i will have in driving a car. it will be fine for dropping ruby at daycare or picking her up or getting me from a to b. we get the final numbers on monday, we will do a budget and fingers crossed i'll have a new car in a few weeks. we have to order an manual transmission from washington. i think it is a really cute car. check it out:

p.p.s. our girls (clare and nic) took off for a 2.5 week trip to brazil today. happy and safe travels to them.
