no updates

i haven't been too good about doing updates lately. our mac took a big crap on us it seems. the computer guy came to the house today and said it must be a system thing. so i'm afraid he's going to have to crash everything out and reload it all. so we have to pay him to do a back-up so i don't loose all of my photos. i had 10,000 or so on there, work stuff and family stuff. luckily though, just a few days before it crashed lisa backed up all of ruby's photos on a dvd. so we won't lose those no matter what happens. we ordered another external drive so we can do better back-ups too. computers, pisses me off you can't trust them. we spent a lot of money on that computer and a few years down the track it takes a dump. oh well nothing i can do about it now.

not much new other than that. ruby's rash is gettin better all by itself just like the doc said it would. we are waiting for the cold snap to break. we even had to raise the thermostat a few degrees, i haven't done that in years. but i guess that's what happens when there is a little baby in the house.
