The weekend was good. Laura and Josh came to visit. it was good to see them and the best part was that they snuck here early and did the raking in the yard before L and i even got home from work!! that is one of the best surprises ever! i HATE yardwork. so, thanks guys, again for all the hard work!!!
we had a nice meal out at the city cafe, my favorite restaurant in town. i had a nice meal. i was hoping for a repeat of the chocolate cake, so we ordered diablo chocolate cake. i have to say it was definate disappointment compared to the death by chocolate at prescott's the previous weekend. so, i think i'll just have to go in and pick some up to go maybe?
the 'friend's' babyshower went nice and smoothly too. we got almost all of the decorations we need for the nursery, plus a bunch of great stuff. people are so generous when it's time for a baby. i'm excited to get the decorations up and finish off the nursery.
