poopy doop

i'm having a crappy day today. i thought it was bound to be a good one because i scheduled a lunch at one of my favorite places to eat in rochester, the city cafe. so, not only is the food delicous, it's a great little atmosphere in there. besides all that, i invited some of my favorite people. jaclyn and ben, jen-jen, katy and my wife. lunch was delicous and they had my favorite dish: tuna tacos!!!

so lunch was pretty good and the weather is nice, but i'm having a crappy work day. a machine went down before i even had a sip of coffee. got that sorted, then some quality issues came up with 2 other machines. so i have been chasing around looking for back-logged paperwork and digging around in the records from not just our lab but product testing and components. just one of those pains in the bum no one wants to deal with on a friday.

luckily we don't have plans tonight so i can go home and stir up a few vodka tonics and relax. also the weather is gorgeous.

other than me bitching the week has been relatively uneventful. that isn't a complaint either. work has been busy so i haven't been sitting down at the computer at home to get any proper blogging done.

wanted to be sure to wish the dirty old digger (joe) a happy 70th bday. wish we could be with you to celebrate, but we'll have to save it for when you are over in december! looking forward to it!
