NO GESTATIONAL DIABETES, WHEW!

so, i am happy to report that leeser got her results back from her 3 hour glucose test and everything was fine. she actually passed with flying colors. so that is good. gestational diabetes is so manageable and we know a lot of close friends and family who have dealt with it so it wouldn't have been the end of the world, but just one more thing to worry about.

so, i am trying not to say i-told-you-so to leeser who didn't read the instructions before going to her first test, but i-told-you-so. she will probably get mad that i blog this.... but it was so, so silly. for the first test she was just to go in and drink some sugar stuff and have her blood drawn WITHOUT FASTING. well, she fasted and obviously that skewed her results. so then she had to do the long test which IS fasting. which in turn caused her to feel like doody on friday and miss the concert of the century. sheesh. all could have been avoided if she just read the instruction sheet. cripes, mate.

but anyway, we are happy that everything is still going so well with the bump. that's the important thing.

the weeekend was great. concert on friday, breakfast out saturday morning, then chores, then barn dance... also pretty fun. church on sunday then we went to see and old friend who just birthed the cutest little baby! little mia with big cheekies. she was so sweet, i just fell in love with her. (uh-oh, does that sound clucky? somebody might be getting excited for our baby!?!?)
