so, i had promised to blog about this but hadn't gotten around to it. i knew i really needed the photo to cement my story. so 2 weekends ago, i had learned of a large sale on brassieres going on at penny's. so, i decided to go check them out. i have lost some weight and it has been years and years since i actually went in somewhere and tried these things on. i think for maybe the last 5 years or something i have been stuck on the jockey brand, maybe longer than that. anyway, i can't believe i'm going to say this, but you really do get a better fit of clothing when you go in and try them on. different brands and styles do fit differently, don't they? i hate to say that though because i am clearly the queen of avoiding trying things on at all costs.
anyway, i dragged leeser along for some advice and help. she had to come in and sit there while i spent time trying to get everything strapped in and adjusted. then we had to make a decision on fit. she is clearly a no nonsense kind of girl, she likes something that is comfortable and does the job. up until this trip, i agreed. but this trip, i decided i needed some color. why is it that girls that actually have a little size don't get any cute color choices? this is both baffling and annoying. i mean, what about all of those playboy bunnies? they all have huge surgically enhanced jugs, what do they wear? i'm almost certain it isn't a white jockey jogbra. yes, yes i am bitter.
but lookee here... i was able to find a little support and lots of color. and i switched styles, from unlined soft cup underwires to semi-lined demi-cup underwire push-up. because as my amazing pal bamboo says, 'sometimes the girls just need a little lift...' thanks, kid i knew you could tell me i was starting to sag without making me feel bad.
ok. i think that's enough talk of my boobs. sorry for everyone who didn't really want to know, but it is my blog and i am excited about my new purchases. i hope everyone else's breasts are so colorfully supported as mine are!

Oh Friend! I'm happy to see you have some color. And everybody needs a little lift sometimes :)
