so, here is the typical weekend update. a good pal of ours came down to the big city of rochester for a nice weekend visit. we were so happy to have her. usually we go up to her place so we had to show her a good time.
friday night we wisked her off to some music in a cute little venue up in oak center. it was such a hippy place, i loved it. there were dogs hanging out everywhere, organic beers to be bought and hippy clothes and food of all sorts. the boys who played were pretty good too.
saturday brought some nice weather and a lovely stroll around the lake with the dawgs. being out in the sun was helpful to quell that seasonal affective disorder that has been cropping up lately. the mud and run-off from 36-some inches of snow isn't all that fun, but typical. cari was also gracious enough to help us set up our new flat screen tv and rearrange the furniture in the living room. then it was off to the new tapas restaurant in town. it was a fun experience, but i would just go back for the cheeses, wines and desserts next time.
sunday was church, a quick breakfast at good ole cheap charlies. then it was a low-key nap rest of sunday.
mrs. carihard, thanks for coming down to boring crotchester from your trendy fun and exciting home in the cities. we were happy to see you!!!
