well, this week has kinda whipped by. been busy with work stuff, i guess. i didn't even have time to report on one of the biggest days i've had in a long, long time.
tuesday, i scheduled myself to donate blood. this was a big step for so many reasons. probably the biggest one was the crappy experience i had the last time i donated in college for the red cross. it was awful and i won't even waste anyone's time with the details. so it has taken me a lot of year, almost 10 to get up the courage to donate again. plus, i'm always nervous about if it goes badly or something, i have to work with all these techs and nurses an everyone, so it could be embarrassing. anyway, i donated and it went fine. now i'm back in the saddle with that. a special thanks to linda who agreed to draw me and did an excellent job!
secondly, on tuesday i had to lead my first management meeting. it went ok, but i'm not the biggest fan. i was nervous the whole time. plus my only work pal decided to embarrass me by bring up that i had donated blood for the first time earlier that day. there was clapping and blushing. sheesh.
then, if tuesday wasn't crazy enough, i had to tutor spencer for the first time. it went really welll though. we got most of his homework done. he was good too. we chatted some and worked some and in two hours we were done. i hope it continues to go that well.
yesterday brought another new thing. my first eyebrow waxing. i was prepared for the worst, but apparently i didn't need too much done. so it turned out just fine. also got a haircut. she took a lot more hair off of the back, so i am much, much happier about my hair. still just waiting for a few chunks in the front to get long enough to tuck behind my ears. then i will be golden.
today is thursday and i have plans to get drilled with a paintball gun. spencer wants me to play with him this summer, but i told him i had to get hit once to see how bad it hurts before i agree to play. he told me he would take care of it right then, but i was wearing cute jeans which i did not want paint on. so, maybe tonight we'll see if his mom lets us go through with it. i figure either she will say no way, or she'll want to shoot me herself. i'll report tomorrow how it goes and hopefully post a few funny photos. i'm bringing protective gear, so it shouldn't be too bad. ha ha ha.

Hey Friend! I know I haven´t been the best blogger, but who is Spencer. Okay, well I just wanted to give you a little shout out before I leave for Nicarague. Also, way to go on your first in-charge meeting position. Here´s to Mg(OH)2!!! Well, give Rhyno a call tonight if you can. He´s working too much and was going to call you two sometime. Also, he´s down and out ´cause his St. Patrick´s Day trip to Boston is off. Sorry to hear about he snow - better luck next year when I´m around. Speaking of which, Molly might be nannying again which would really serve to pull me back. Okay, well great job with your meeting and I´m sending some melt the snow vibes your way! Cheers pal!
