family visit, head cold, new job, birthday, treadmill

all things i haven't blogged about.

mom, dad, the colonel, tone and alice visited last weekend. that was fun. we made sushi, at indian food and played with the baby. unfortunately, i also managed to get food poisoning and a head cold. i've just finally started being able to breath within the last few days.

the uncooked bbq chicken pizza from papa john's pizza on county road 22, rochester, minnesota has left me questioning meat's place in my diet. leeser let me buy two new vegetarian cookbooks yesterday, so we'll see what i can do with them. (i am very lazy when it comes to cooking, you know).

also, congratulations to my lovely wife, who was recently promoted. actually she has found a new and better job... still at mayo, but no longer in the pharmacy. so, she is anxiously awaiting her start date. i'm anxiously awaiting her new paychecks. he he he. so, good job, babe. i hope i can find a new spot here at the clinic too.

happy birthday to my youngest sister, laura. she turned 26 on friday 3/3. i hope you had a nice dinner out. i promise your card is in the mail. you should get it tomorrow or tuesday at the latest.

finally, we made a large purchase yesteday. we will be welcoming a brand new nordictrack treadmill into our already cluttered family. hopefully we'll both be able to get intimate with this thing and whip our sad, pastey winter season asses into shape. wish us luck.
