man, it has been cold here. but, i'm happy to say that we have been layering up and braving the bite to walk the pooches. i have been glad each time, cold but glad. we finally went snowshoeing for the first time this year too. i think the temp was in the negatives, but tromping in 12 inches of powder takes a bit of effort so we were pretty warm. miles loves running in it too. i swear that dog has no idea that he has icicles all over his fur.
we also made some cookies, did a little cleaning and watched some movies. things we haven't had time for in a long while it seems. what was so nice about this weekend is that a) i didn't HAVE to be anywhere and b) i spent about 80% of it in sweatpants and a hoodie.
i hope everyone else is finding a little bit of time to relax while gearing up for the holiday.
