early morn

so, i've been catching a ride in the morning with my wife in an effort to build in a little overtime into my otherwise sad paychecks. so far it's going ok. i've been getting up when the alarm goes off. anyone who knows me that this is a small miracle.

i'm sure i will be happy about the money, but what is even nicer is that it's so quiet here at 5:30am, i can get things done and there aren't any special cases or supervisor needing my help. even better is that i can hide my coffee in a cupboard which is highly illegal in a lab like this. oh well.

gearing up for the holidays.... actually i'll be working, but my christmas shopping is done. gotta be happy with that!
