not the best photo, but i think it captures our spread. i am happy to report that we surprised ourselves with how well the sushi thing went. i even have people asking for lessons. i don't know if that's the best idea, but i know when i have a hankering for a nice california roll, i'll be able to whip one up for myself.
despite not being able to spend the holiday with my family, it went ok. the dinner was good, and the company and conversations were good too. so, i guess that's all i can ask for.
now, what in the hell are we doing to do for the new year???
