happy christmas

i feel i can wish everyone a happy christmas, but i do know a few that do not celebrate a holiday at this time of year, or celebrate an alternate holiday. for amyscoop... have a great hanukkah!

despite having to work today, i have to say the day has been pretty ok. the workload wasn't as crazy as yesterday and we got a free meal from the hospital cafeteria. although that might not seem like much, it was pretty nice i thought. and the food wasn't too bad either. i felt for all the cafeteria workers that had to be here working too.

anyway, i wasn't all that excited about presents because we already had christmas in the dells a few weeks ago and leeser and i gave each other car tires. but, when i got up this morning and went outside to start my truck at 6am to warm up, the biggest fluffiest snowflakes you've ever seen started floating down. i woke lisa up so she could see the christmas snow. lucky thing i did because 10 minutes later it stopped. so that was pretty cool. but, can't complain about the weather it has been in the upper 30s and even into the 40s lately. a lot of our snow is starting to melt. i have mixed feelings about this, but am glad be able to walk the dogs without freezing my ass off for the last few days.

hope everyone has a great christmas. i'm going home to try my hand at rolling sushi for us and a few friends stuck here without their families. i'm sure i'll have misaventures to report tomorrow.

peace and goodwill to men;
riches and success to women!
