back from a week of coffee ready-made and sleeping in

so, i spent a week at mom and dad's in good ole racine, wisconsin. i have to say it was relaxing and busy all at the same time. you know how these things go when there is a holiday in the middle of everything.... lots of cleaning and cooking and shopping.

besides all of that it was a nice week away from work, very low-stress, and lots of sleeping in. what was also really great was waking up every morning to a fresh pot of coffee, and it was hazelnut flavoured to boot. mom loves hazelnut and both mom and dad drink coffee. so, it was nice to wake up and help myself to their pot. it was so nice because leeser doesn't like coffee at all. she hates the taste of it and the smell. all the coffee-drinkers out there understand how nice it is to sit and share morning coffee with someone. so, that was probably my favorite part.

i also caught up with my old high school coach and checked out the changes to the school. and i went to visit one of my favorite high school friends as well. i am godmother to her middle child, so we hung out with her and the kids. they grow so fast. sitting around with stacey and the 3 kids really makes me wonder if i'm ready for any of that yet. i definately don't want that many.... they are nuts, everyone talking at once, and snotty noses everywhere. whew, i was only there for and hour and a half and i was tired out.

i guess that's all for now. i'm working on a slideshow of our adventures and misadventures in racine, i'll post a link tomorrow, i hope.

hope everyone ate themselves silly!
