1. learned how to shoot a handgun. not really on my life 'to-do' list, but i had the opportunity to do some target shooting. i have to admit it was fun. thanks for the lesson, ed.
2. mom took this photo while i was buying a new dryer at home depot. the sales guy totally busted us.
3. got out snowshoeing on 80 quiet acres out in plainview on a beautiful day.
4. discovered ruby's love for shopping if she gets her own cart. she followed me around letting me fill the cart. until we got to the check out aisle where she threw a holy fit. very, very unhappy that her items were bagged up.
5. ruby tried her hand at making chili. it turned out well.
6. she offered to help clean up the dishes. she loves her bubbles.
7. one afternoon ruby asked to watch nemo. i was sick and she seemed cuddly. so i popped it and we snuggled up to watch. i feel asleep and when i woke up i saw a smiley toddler sitting on top of the love sac with a mouth full of peanuts. i glanced around the living room to see the entire floor covered with smashed peanut hulls. she had used the stash she had stored the night before in her boot. i guess she wanted a snack.
8. a toddler's work is never done. stack, stack, stack. line-up, line-up, line-up.

Too cute pictures of Ruby...makes it even more fun to know the story behind some of them. Who wouldn't store peanuts in their boots???
great pics, especially the one from home depot--he looks pretty friendly! strong silent type i think....thanks for sharing. good idea to get ruby cooking early! she might have some good recipes someday. i'll pass on any peanut recipes though!
