projects

little projects and organization around the house is coming along nicely. i can't wait to get home each evening to play with miles and tick off a few more little things, often involving a drill. ha ha.

hopefully, i am coming to the end of 'going to pick things up' from menards, home depot and fleet farm as my money tree is very much in hibernation. things are comfortable there now and i am anxiously awaiting the arrival of my plush sac which will serve as my couch. i can hardly wait to see ruby playing on it and i equally can't wait to find myself falling asleep on it watching movies on the new 40" tv (thanks, lisa) hanging on my wall. i know, i know, i owe some photos. i'll try to get on that this weekend.

anyway, i was pondering how i conduct myself and was reminded of this quote. "The true measure of a man is how he treats someone who can do him absolutely no good." ~Samuel Johnson i think my parents learned me that and i feel like it's part of my nature now. that makes me smile.

missing ruby terribly. she is in australia, but i know she is having fun and am happy for her family over there getting to spend time with her. 19 more days till she is back state side.

hope everyone's christmas shopping is done. mine is. neener, neener.

Jealous.....I miss a certain black lab on occasion. You should probably come to Iowa for a visit and bring him with. :-)
