her height, weight, head circumference all seem on track. she is staying very consistent. she has gained back the weight she lost while she was sick last time too. so that is good.
one worry is that her speech development doesn't seem to be where it should be. her doctor seems to think a huge part of that is due to the ear infections. she took a look and could still see fluid behind the troubled ear. so, we are now scheduled for a hearing test and will go from there. she'll probably need tubes. so, of course i am worried about it. trying not to get too worked up. we'll see how it all goes.
anyway, we managed to get a photo with ruby and her doctor. she is the first person to examine her when she was 2 days old and she has been our pediatrician ever since then. unfortunately for us and fortunately for her, she has a job lined up out in billings, MT where she is from and her family lives. so, we will be getting a new doc. it was a little sad to say good-bye yesterday. although, we'll probably see her a few more times for this ear bizzo.

Thanks Dr. Poling
I just love that beautiful baby doll. She's so dainty compared to our big guy. Hopefully she'll like the big boys, hehe.
I'll pray she doesn't have any serious health concerns and that she'll be well soon. FYI, not sure how much you guys use the nuk anymore but 'they' say that can slow down speech development too. Love you guys.
Ruby Tuesday, so gorgeous. I can't believe she is getting so growed up!
Can't wait to see you in 24 days!!!!!!!!!!!
