blah day

i had such hopes for this friday. it's been ok, but as the day has progressed, i've slumped into a bit of a slump. well more than a bit of a slump, an actual hole, lined with poo. just cranky and tired, physically and emotionally exhausted. oh well, the day is nearly over.

heading to get ruby and bring her back here to the clinic for another doc appt. she has been rocking a low-grade fever for a few days and we all know this cold will likely end in an ear infection. so rather than letting it get really bad we'll have a check today.

i'm hoping if she does have one, we can get her on antibiotics right away and perhaps schedule surgery for tubes around easter since we'll have that time off anyway. we'll see how it all goes.
