i found an 8k training plan that is going to work with my schedule and my life. i don't have time or the desire to train every day. so i found one that eliminates all the cross training on off days, etc. eventually i'll see about fitting all of that in, but for my first run, i don't plan on breaking any records, i just want to finish. here it is in case anyone else has been searching for a plan if you have a life and want to run.

this will put me right on target for the run too. everyone better earmark a little donation for me. this run benefits cancer research here at mayo and locally. i will do another post with more information as it gets closer.

You better be training! I've started...slowly but surely! No ditching out on it because you invited me to run! :-P Hope your training is going well. Did you try the tie trick I mentioned the other day?

i would much rather give money than run. maybe this is why i am the size i am?????? go figure. good job with the running mako/lange girls.
