a few important updates

Hello friends, family, casual readers, freaky stalkers-

Sorry for the lack of posts lately. Trying to get back on top of everything with work and home. Being away for essentially the last month leaves me feeling like the hole ois pretty deep.

So, thought i would cheat and list a few important things in a lazy, lazy list:

1. Ruby gives kisses now.
2. We get a new roof since ours was damaged by a mid-spring hail storm.
3. I am freaked out by the state of the economy and our country.
4. I am spending a weekend in Orlando with Clare in November.
5. We forgot to call Josh on his bday (happy 19th bday, josh he he he).
6. The mako family is in operation save money.
7. As a direct result of #6, we have decided to stop keep a landline at home. (I think all the important people in our lives have our mobile numbers).
8. I'm afraid to be excited about the way the presidential race is going.
9. We bought a 3-in-1 leaf blower, vacuum, mulcher. (I know it goes against #6 but we felt the time it will save racking that it was worth it).
10. Ruby is sleeping in her own room now.
