for the longest time, i thought when people talked about mayhem they were actually saying may-HAM. perhaps from growing up watching too many loony toons cartoons with porky pig. anyway, i just looked it up to be sure i was spelling it properly and i loved the definition: a state of rowdy disorder.
what a great phrase! it would be a good band name too. rowdy disorder. we are gonna catch 'rowdy disorder' tonight, opening for the 'orange and poppyseed cake incident' (another mythical band that lisa and i often refer to, and was in place might i add BEFORE the proper band 'string cheese incident' was alive).
anyway, i can't remember what i was actually going to blog about, but this diction business took me all off on a tangent. plus, i'm only working a half day today and we are celebrating clare's bday. plus going over to the bloxy's for dinner. the weather seems nice so it should be a good day.
