but my wife doesn't like camping. and it's a lot of work to get everything all packed up if people aren't going to have fun. but i always feel so happy and recharged sitting out at a fire and in the quiet. i was thinking i could put my tent up in the backyard and sit by a campfire by myself. i'll just go inside to pee and stuff. but i'll sleep outside. but that's kind of nerdy and i wouldn't have the quiet of a state park or a proper camping place. it would be noisy and sound like the city. i don't want that.
plus now there are storms and flash flood warnings. maybe i'll just have to sit out on my covered porch with bug spray on and pretend.

I'd offer to go camping with ya but there's just too much going on this year with all the wedding stuff. We'll definitely have to go next year! Good luck finding solace another way.
i'm sad that Kempo doesn't like to camp. I'm amazed at how many people out there feel the same. I love it! but may I suggest that you guys try a nice camper or something - maybe then she'll come around.
you should totally buy an rv, call it daisy travel around the campgrounds of the USA, make up alter-egos called Trish and Bargetta, oh wait !!! that's lame-o.
I remember many a night with Leeser, a campfire and marshmallows, although we did always have a nice cosy bed to crawl into.
btw I need to go camping too!!! Why can't Dave's siter get married in the summer.
Plus I finally thought up some band names but now it's too late.
White Picket Fences
Unbroken Promise
