the prospect of going out to dinner could ever be so exciting until i became a parent. we just don't go out to eat anymore. it always seems like such a daunting task packing up shorty and risking whether or not she will be happy sitting while we eat. she's getting to that squirmy, wiggly, i-have-to-be-entertained-every-single-second stage.
despite all that, we have decied in lieu of the week off from softball, we will wander down to the weekly summer event called: thursday's on first. there are food booths, people selling their hippy-stuff, a small farmer's market, a martini bar and lots of fun stuff. there is also live music in the evening.
so, i am hoping the weather holds out and we have a nice time. there is lots for rubis to look at so she will hopefully be entertained. maybe i'll bring the flip camera and see about a few vid clips for the blog tomorrow. won't that be fun?
