It is friday afternoon. It has been a long week. Not only a long work week, but emotionally the weather has been sad and we have been in slumps since the girls went back to england.
But here I sit on my back porch with a sweet, summery breeze keeping the bugs off. There is a 6 month only gorgeous little girl kicking around in my lap trying with all her might so very earnestly to untie my merrel baja shoe to get the laces into her mouth. She just finished her bottle and we are watching the clouds clipping across the blue sky. She is singing to the trees and I am enjoying this grey goose and tonic.
It's been a long week but a little sun does everyone good. Here's bottoms up to a great weekend of staying home and being with my family.
