ruby's pommie godmommies

I am laying in bed while lisa is feeding ruby. Thought I would do a quick update so everyone would have little to read when you get in to work today after the long holiday.

The girls arrived safely. We have spent 3 amazing days together so far. We haven't done much, but it has just been absolutely perfect having them around. Ruby has a special connection with them and of course loves them both.

We have spent time at the farmer's market, the grocery store, the coffee shop, target, kmart, the mall and plenty of time out in the backyard. The weather has been lovely and we all hope it holds.

Today we venture up to the mall of america as it is the only place other than our house the girls have requested to see. Ruby will stay here in town with jaclyn and we will go up and shop till we drop.

Something almost as exciting as our visitors is my new lomo camera. It is vintage, from the 60's or so, made in russia. I will talk more about it later, but I have been running around shooting film again. I have been in love with this type of camera and style of photography for years. Can't wait to show some of the things that come of it. So far have a lovely portrait of the girls and ruby.

Ok. Enough rambling on. I hope everyone had a great holiday weekend.

PS ruby has her first tooth nub, it arrived sunday.
