i <3 flan

so, my scheister sister marty loves to make t-shirts. she doesn't need a reason, she just gets a silly idea in her head and the project is set in motion. we received a package in the mail last week which was expected to contain presents from their trip to the dominican republic (which we did also find inside...thanks again). i think the crowning glory is this homemade shirt. for those of you who know me, you know i tasted my first flan a few years ago at a good-bye potluck that was for myself. i was hooked. then while checking out some flickr friend's sites, i stumbled on to something called cheesecake flan. this dessert boasted mixing the best of both worlds, flan and cheesecake. i got the recipe and marty made it for me one weekend when we visited. now that's all i ask for when there is occasion to bake. mmmmmm. anyway, we had our annual board meeting for GLYS on monday so i asked leeser to hook me up with a flan. she obliged, i thought it would be a perfect time to model my new shirt too.
