i was running a little late this morning. i had a hard time waking up then i also had things a bit out of order because my sis is staying with us today and tomorrow. she has so graciously come to take care of ruby for a few days since jaclyn is on vacation.
anyway, once i did walk out to the car i touched the windshield because i looked and thought, 'that can't be ice, it's nearly may.... ice???'. yup, it was ice. i managed to make it in on time because i parked in the shuttle lot today!! yay! shout out to matty who has loaned me his parking tag.
then once i got ready to do a blog, i found that the proxy server was on the fritz here at mayo. oh well, it's fixed now.
i had a great weekend, we went to eau claire to see laura's new place and eat way too much food. it was a nice trip and ruby was really good. then we cleaned up the house and played some guitar hero (my new fav addiction).
we were also lucky enough to catch a great concert by a christian folk singer. he was at church that morning to do a few songs and announced he would have a concert that evening. he was great. his music isn't all jeezus-y, so don't go scoffing. he just has religous and respectful undertones, i would say. plus he was really funny, engaging and enjoyable. if he is ever in your area, it would be worth your time to check him out.

What a wonderful sister you must have to not only let you guys come for a visit to her new place but also come over to watch Ruby and make it to a concert with you. What a sacrifice it must be for her. LOL!!! But really thanks for coming to visit and letting me get a little quality time with Ruby. And the concert was another bonus. I think I hear a few little happy babbles coming through the monitor so I think the little one is awake. Have a good day!
