oh yeah. sorry everyone. i forgot i was supposed to update on the 4 month well-baby appointment from yesterday. on ruby's official day of being alive for 4 months, in we went. she is nearly 13 lbs now and about 24 inches long. she is now in the 30th percentile for weight and head circumference. she is 50th for height. so still tall and skinny. maybe she will bulk up a little in the coming months.
everything seems right on track though. she is doing all the things she should be. she spent the whole appointment being silly and flirting with dr. tang (who incidentally is a very handsome man, so she has good taste so far). unfortuanately, he is moving to LA in a few months. boo.
she was a little trooper for her 4 vaccinations. decidedly unhappy each time she was jabbed, but stopped crying pretty quickly after. hopefully, she isn't feeling too sore today. she slept fine last night and leeser said she was her usual self this morning too, a bit sleepy but happy.
so that's the report on shorty. maybe i should stop calling her shorty and start calling her skinny or slim or stretch??? aw well, too soon to tell.

I'd say stop calling her "shorty." When some mean boy calls her "shorty," you probably won't like it. So...that's my vote.
