I am just waking up. It is sunny and i have been listening to all the birds that have come back from their winter travels. They are singing and singing. Something about this time of year in the midwest. I can't explain it, but every person who has ever lived here knows the feeling. It's one of euphoria, wonder and amazement towards nature, God, whatever higher power you direct your beliefs to. I am feeling that right now. It makes me so happy to be alive.
On top of that i have a little person next to me squirming around in her crib. I can hear her yawning and wiggling a bit. It is her pre-wake up routine. I am laying here typing and waiting for her eyes to flutter open as a child waits with wild and eager anticipation to open a brightly colored birthday present. Each morning seeing her little eyes and smiles i feel the same: blessed, gracious and relieved.
This is the GOOD LIFE! Happy saturday everyone.

It is a good life!! Although..there won't be much sleeping until almost 10:00 if you have more kids! LOL Mine are awake by 6:30 and that is sleeping in!!
