foods i can't say no to

Everyone has foods that happen to be vises, things we will eat, seak out, never turn down hungry or not. I thought about this today as leeser and i talk a bit about food addictions when she came home today to feed ruby.

I am gonna make a list of these ridiculous things. As you read them, you'll notice that i certainly must be intelligent enough to realize that if i could give these items up, i would clearly have no problem losing the last nagging 12-15 lbs i've been carrying around forever. But you see, that's the rub....IT'S AN ADDICTION.

1. Swedish fish
2. Cheese cake flan
3. Black, green or kalamata olives
4. Cheese (any shape, color, size description)
5. Gelato/proper frozen custard
6. Fatty nuts like pistacchios, cashews, walnuts and almonds
7. Last but not least a flat white or latte, the fattier the better.

Here are the addictions of my lovely, wife (she gave me permission to post these):

1. Maltesers
2. Gummy worms
3. Cadbury mini eggs
4. Ice cream of any discription but especially with milo on top
5. Ham rolls
6. Fresh white australian bread
7. Diet coke

And now i must issue a sincerely heartfelt apologiy to my baby-est sister laura (commonly referred to on this blog as LBM). It was her 28th birthday yesterday...which i did NOT forget. I talked to her on the phone, but it was simply an error of omission not posting it on the blog so my enormous audience could join me in wishing her well.

So officially (and publicly) a day late: HAPPY BIRTHDAY, LBM.

PS this is a blog from betty so sorry if the formatting looks weird.

Happy Birthday to LBM for yesterday. Hope you had a good day Amy's little sis.

How come I share many of yours and Lisa's weeknesses with food?!? Perhaps that is why I have more than 12-15lb to lose!!!!!!!!!!
Hope your stay-at-home life is suiting you well Babycakes

Yes! Cadbury mini eggs -- best candy ever. I have had to throw out bags of them because I was making myself sick eating them. And then I thought about going through the trash. So I had to put liquid on the mini eggs so they would be too gross to eat. And I still thought about getting them out of there. Oh god, those are the BEST.

Thanks for the 'official' blog Happy Birthday. I wasn't worried about it because I talked to you so it's not like you forgot me. But thanks for making it official.

Thanks to Clarissa as well, I had a nice birthday. I had the day off and Josh did too. We went to a movie and had a nice dinner out.

I also have to agree with the comments on the Cadbury mini eggs--FRU-IT of the DEV-IL!!! I cannot leave a bag alone if they're in the house. No good at all! Especially when I'm trying to make sure I fit in my wedding dress.

There's been a lot going on around here so maybe I'll even do a guest blog about it sometime. We'll see how it goes.

What about Andes Candies white chocolate peppermints that only come out at Christmas time? Sheesh. It's really the only white chocolate I like. I have to securely squirrel those away or it's very bad.
