well the baptism went without a hitch. ruby was a good little girl. she slept through the whole service and we only heard a tiny little squeak out of her as her head was doused in water. we were so proud of her. i didn't find out till after how nervous lisa was that ruby would poop or scream or something. ha ha ha.
anyway, a special thanks to everyone who helped me out with planning and bringing stuff and to all of ruby's godmommies.
i don't have much else to report. the baptism took up most of the weekend. grandma and aunt susie came up too. so it was nice to see them and let them meet ruby. we spent most of saturday evening over at the hotel with everyone. that was fun too. the only bummer was that there was a hockey tournament in town, so there were a million screaming little brats running around. it was insane.
luckily it was warm and no one had to worry about driving in snowy conditions.

If only we remembered to take some photo's of her in her gown - what kind of parents are we?
wish I could have witnessed it. so glad she did well..although...it would have been a better story if there was poop involved, hehe.
Sorry we missed it. So pleased it went well. Ruby-C will always be the star of the show. xxxxx
