successful first christmas

well, i think ruby had an ok first christmas. it was very low-key, maybe even silent. we had a quiet day, just hung around the house. the weather was really nice and warm maybe 31 F or so, above freezing anyway, sunny, calm and clear. leeser and i took advantage and walked the dogs. we even ran them ragged in the field by the school.

then lisa's mum cooked up a big roast dinner for everyone. i had the veggies and some vegetarian riblets. after stuffing ourselves we opened a few little pressies we had gotten each other. then we just sat around and chatted. i tried to do my blog last night but couldn't get anything to upload.

anyway, the best pressie in my opinion was for ruby. it is pictured here. in keeping with tradition, i got ruby her first softball glove. can't get her exposed too soon. ha ha ha. she wasn't too impressed, but she will appreciate it as soon as she can, i'm sure of it.

i hope everyone's holiday went well.

Yay for Ruby-C's first Crimbo. Her Pommie Godmoms were excited for her and hope all her wishes come true.
Can't wait for a lesson in soft ball from shortie - haven't got a clue what it is, but I am sure we'll see in May
Big love to you all
