so, something triggered my back again. it totally crapped out on me. some might consider an unfortunate fall off of a barstool height chair in my kitchen in order to avoid dislocating an ankle a possible cause. whatever it was, i have been laid out for the last week in bed. in fact it was so bad this time, i actually went to the doctor. for those of you who know me, you know just how out of the range of normal this was.
anyway, not only was i in lots and lots of pain and discomfort do to this excellent back of mine, i managed to also come down with the flu. so wretching, dry heaving and puking while the lower back is out.... well not the most fun i've ever had. so i managed to ruin our holiday as i was on a steady diet of nothing, apple juice and soda crackers. poor leeser. she has been hanging out on her own the last week. looking in on me when she could. (thanks, babe). but she's feeling very pregnant and this was not the most opportune time for me to get sick. (luckily little shorty is still happy and warm in her belly and hasn't gone poking around too much yet)
i'm still not feeling 100% and my back is still very sore, but i am able to move around. that is a lot more than i could say 2 days ago. i have a second acupuncture appointment tomorrow too, so hopefully that really gets me fixed up.
so, no news about the baby, everything seems to be fine there.
i hope everyone else had a much, much nicer turkey day than we managed to pull off this year. i have to say i won't look back on this one and call it fond or warm or even nice.
gotta go put the heating pad on my back (yes, yes i am only 31... sheesh).
over and out!

sorry to hear of the rough Thanksgiving. you're timing is unreal Pastey. Hopefully you're feeling tons better since you are at work today. You need to build that strength back up so you can catch the baby.
