in spain, sore brain

so, my favorite email pal and probably one of the best people i've ever met in the whole world ever, clare, is in spain for business. she usually is in england, so spain doesn't sound that exotic. BUT it means that she doesn't have email access to keep me cheered up at work. i guess it's a great week for her to be away seeing my butt is getting absolutely pounded this week.

i am trying to tie up all the crazy paperwork and regulations to do a validation. i'm in a time crunch on all of it because a) we have a sunset date which is fast approaching on the equipment i'm trying to replace and b) we have a baby coming very soon as well. it's my job to test out this equipment, make sure it is going to meet all of these crazy standards and get them here, then validate all of those machines and help with the training. that's going to be tough to get done before baby mako arrives.

anyway, i'm also on my second day of a fruit/veggie detox. i haven't had any caffeine since friday and my head is killing me. i'm gonna try to make it until next week sunday when we have our baby shower. 7 days. if that goes well, i might do a weekend cleanse which involves fasting. we'll see how it all goes.
