the wedding

so, i did opt to wear the dress. it went ok. i was going to post some photos, but i thought better of it. anyway, there was an open bar (mixers too, not just beer) from 4 until 8. so after swigging down a fair amount of jackie and david's homemade wine on an empty stomach, i got stuck into the vodka and tonics. it ended up being a fun night. we hung out with all of lisa's work mates and even ended up at dell's bar for an awesome bloody mary at the end of the evening. i woke up feeling pretty good since we got to sleep in till 10. i had a slight lingering of a headache, but that wasn't anything an awesome meal of creole food at buzzard billy's couldn't fix. we shared fried pepper jack cheese bites (these things are some of the best appetizers i've ever put in my mouth, so good!), hush puppies and a bowl of jimbalaya. delicious.

sunday was pretty mellow. i think we may have watched a movie. well actually, leeser watched a movie, i promptly fell asleep and napped for about 2.5 hours. that was nice.

yesterday night i got roped into playing ball on the co-ed team all my buddies play on here in town. it went ok, i had to play 2B, i didn't make any errors and i was 3 for 4 batting. so, for a kid who has been in a slump most of the year, that wasn't too bad.
