we had our big ultrasound today. it went well. all the big indicators were at the right sizes and positions. so, i was so relieved. i think every new parent or just parent in general has all kinds of unfounded fears about what is going on in that belly. i think i have a lot more worry because i worked in a lab where abnormal pregnancies were the norm. that gets a kid freaked out. but, i tried to put my calm concerned parent hat on so i didn't come across like some kind of crazed idiot to the ultrasound tech. i guess i did ask questions and know things that weren't 'the usual' questions because at one point she stopped and looked at my name tag and said, 'where do you work??'. ha ha ha. clear indicator.
anyway, the doctor was happy with what she saw. so, that means i am happy with what we saw. now it just seems like a 5 month waiting game to meet little baby mako and start warping another young mind.
leeser is still doing well. she is feeling ok, no morning sickness to speak of, just tiredness. but she is staying up past when the streetlights come on, so that is good enough. that's about all i can think of. we are starting to try to pick out a theme for the nursery so i can get cracking on that.

I still maintain that it's a girl. And she's beautiful and she's already my favorite neice! :)
