sunset on cable lakei have to say i'm a little disappointed by this weekend get-a-way. i had been so looking forward to going to the boxcar and enjoying some time on the lake. well, the boxcar is a gorgeous little cabin, so cute. however, just as i was praising the weather in my last post, it didn't smile to kindly on us this weekend. most of the time it was really windy, chilly and overcast with bouts of rain. obviously, the weather isn't anyone's fault but i was excited to spend time outside and enjoy.
spencer + basswe did still get to go for ride on the lake, fished, ate and enjoyed a few campfires. leeser tried her hand at fishing off of the dock too. she was busy catching blue gills, sunnies and a few crappies. i was busy rebaiting her hook, untangeling the occasional snag and taking fish off the hook. that was fine by me too. (unfortunately i didn't get a chance to take any photos of her) now i know to bring all of my fishing stuff when we go back in august.
