down to twelve days

i guess i haven't had much to say lately. just been working, tutoring, running around it seems like. i don't even have any funny stories or reasons why i am so tired. oh wait, i do have a funny story about a nightmare i had this week.

usually i don't have nightmares, in fact, i can probably say i've had less than a dozen of them in my whole life (or at least, remembered them). so anyway, i wake up tuesday morning at about 4am sweating, heart thumping and this really deep searing pain in my left hip. it turns out tricia (a good friend of ours who is also a physician's assistant here at the clinic) was doing a bone marrow tap on me without any anesthesia. thanks, trishy but you can stop that now. what a weird dream. anyway, i couldn't get back to sleep after that. so maybe that set the ball rolling to have tired week?

but, none of that matters because it's only twelve more short days until we shove off to australia. i'm starting to get really excited now. and it's only 9 more working days! woohoo!
