1) who walks around with toothpicks in their mouth anymore? i think that the only people who can do that are wearing flannel shirts and trucker hats that sit 12 inches above their heads. so, today this weird lady walked in and stood there in the middle of the room picking her teeth, then went about her business with it hanging out of her mouth. nice. this is the same woman who was taking a class and decided that she should make hand-outs for everyone in the class... no she wasn't teaching the class, she was TAKING the class.
2) two f*ckwits walk into the break room today. one is carrying a biohazard sharps container, the other is carrying a thermometer. (let me remind you we are in the BREAKroom, not the lab, but the room where we all take breaks and frequently eat food). they fill the biohazard container with water from the sink and put it into our microwave to heat it up. the other guy is running water on the thermometer in the sink. really, really safe. that is the best safe lab practice i have ever seen.
what is wrong with these people?
