really cold part 2

so, we really can't keep the dogs in the house all the time. so, we decided to brave the cold last night for a walk with the pups. the temp was around 6 degrees, i think and a windchill in the minus double digits.

now labs are good in the cold weather. especially mine. he loves the snow and the cold weather and when it's hot, he's in the water or shade. so, i never worry too much about him. the problem with him would be salt and stuff getting in between his toes or ice cutting his pads. other than that, he's good to go.

tully on the other hand, misses her california sun. so, i figured, we put extra layers on when it's cold. better do the same for the dog. oh my, she sure looked ridiculous. she had her fleece coat on, then a cape-type coat over that (two completely different colors and patterns), then four little boots for her feet. so funny. poor little dog. if she was a kid, all the other kids would make fun of her. but she didn't get too cold, so that was good.
